This is wide open and we will side with CAPTAIN MACARRY to get the better of Last Sovereign, Orchard Supreme and Methaaly. Bryan Smart's 4-year-old basically looks progressive and he was an impressive winner at Wolverhampton last time when he beat Kensington. He has more on his plate here but he does have a fitness edge on a number of his rivals and he can run a big race. Last Sovereign is an obvious alternative and he was talked up as a Lincoln contender after his win at Kempton last month. He is another who looks progressive and it will be a surprise if he is not thereabouts at the finish. Orchard Supreme would have claims on the pick of his turf form, but he looks high enough in the weights at present. Methaaly has yet to prove himself over this trip so he looks worth swerving today, while Zomerlust has shown his best form on more testing ground. A case can be made for a number of these but we will seek a bit of value and side with Captain Macarry as the pick.
