DEFINITE RIDGE was tried in blinkers for the first time over this C&D a couple of weeks ago and they had the desired effect, helping him come home clear of King Malik, who runs in the previous race. Not surprisingly he's shot up the weights but looks the type to go on to better things and can complete the double. High Talk also has a C&D victory to his credit and rarely runs away from this track. He's also scored over fences here and looks certain to get in the mix. Harangue scored at Sligo last month and his latest run was on the Flat at Galway. He's only four and has scope to do better so is likely to be involved in the finish. Preswell Lad is slightly better rated over fences but he's running well enough to consider.
