Via Ballycroy went up 6lb for her victory over the C&D but it didn't bother her as she won very easily when tackling an extra furlong. She's been raised another 9lb but Marc Monaghan's claim is a bonus. Almadaa can always be relied on to run his race on this track and has finished in the first three in 13 of his 21 starts including three victories. He's gone up a massive 9lb for beating CALM BAY a length over 5f last time and is much better handicapped on Turf so the runner-up, who will be 6lb better off, gets the nod to return to winning ways on his favourite surface. The once high-class Luisant hasn't won for two years but is very well handicapped if anywhere near his best while Farmleigh House loves it around here though a high draw may prove a problem.
