Verdict

Astrakham showed plenty of ability in her first season but has only raced once this term and might not be quite sharp enough after a long break. All In Clover ran poorly on two early starts here but has definitely improved and looks as though he will be suited by this longer trip. Moonlight Rock was gaining his first success when coming with a late run to catch Boynagh Joy here last month. An 8lbs rise makes life tougher and he has flopped on his two starts over today's trip. KING OF ARAN was finishing so fast over a mile here last week that he would have caught Buaiteoir in another stride. He was unlucky in-running that day and can gain compensation over this longer trip. Denny Crane has been in very good form this summer and it shouldn't be long before he's winning again judged by his cracking effort behind Word For Word here a month ago.
