Avanti Albert looked as though he was returning to form when a close fourth here in September but disappointed when strongly fancied last week when The Pier finished in front of him. Dazzling Light doesn't win often enough but wouldn't be coming over from Scotland without some sort of chance but this can go to LEAVES YOU BABY, who is better than she showed on her last start here where front-running tactics didn't agree with her. She had earlier scored over the C&D when the three-year-old Cloudgazer was behind though the latter can be expected to improve along with Mojita, another of the younger brigade, who has been running well on turf.
