Very few of these arrive in any kind of form but Shawami, who had shown ability for Mick Channon, made an encouraging start for Jessica Harrington at Gowran last month and, with her stable still firing in the winners, should make a bold bid to gain her first success for the yard. ANNIE APPLE had looked a likely future winner when third over this course and distance in March so it was a surprise when she ran over 6f at Cork on Saturday where she stayed on late. This looks her trip and a drop in the ratings can enable her to take this. Wild Shot was behind the selection here in March but Invincible Queen finished in front of her at Cork and Mark Fahey's lightly-raced filly looks a threat.
