Skontonovski, a four-times track winner, scored from a lower Turf mark at Killarney on Monday and though having something to find on official ratings has to be on the shortlist. Supposedtobe also arrives in winning form having changed stables since landing a Roscommon claimer in August and Denis Hogan also runs Ghumama, whose last run here resulted in an easy course and distance success. Sweeping Statement won a one-mile Bellewstown claimer from James Henry last month and the stable also run Dalvey, a three-times winner around here last winter. RENE ARTOIS, placed twice here last December, will have needed last month's run on the track and with just six runs under his belt has the scope to gain his first success.
