In depth

Verdict

TESSONNA will be a short price here after a very encouraging debut in the race won by Leafy Shades at the Curragh. She travelled well throughout and stayed on in eye-catching fashion and looks destined for much better things. Varrane started off with a fair run at Naas but was well beaten on soft ground at Tipperary last week. Kotonic has run in two maidens won by smart performers and hasn't been beaten all that far but Idlers Dream didn't impress at Bellewstown last month having made an encouraging debut on this track. Go Kart's pedigree suggests she'll need further than this.
