Verdict

Jane Elliott is making a name for herself and has been on board for the two recent victories of GOLDEN GUEST. Her mount has dug deep for both successes and, though 4lb higher, can pull out the stops again. Benjamin Thomas had a very easy task in a Catterick maiden before a moderate run in a better handicap than this at Haydock where he may have found the ground too quick. Dourado, a winner for Richard Hannon, was having his first start for new connections at Leicester in May and didn't perform badly but Habbad's only victory to date came on the all-weather.
