An absolute minefield for punters hoping to get day three off to a flying start with a number of these three-year-olds open to any amount of improvement. The draw may not be as crucial over this trip but Sandown winner Euginio and The Queen’s Frontispiece still appear to have been dealt a poor hand in stalls 17 and 18 respectively. Kings Gift ran well over a mile at York but was well beaten on his only previous try over further. Society Red and Emenem were second and third behind Defoe at York but the former has since finished last at Ascot, though that was over 1m4f. Stamina might be an issue with the hat-trick seeking Addeybb but GOOD OMEN is two from two over the trip and, as he’ll also handle any give in the ground, could be worth sticking with in his current mood. Archetype is improving with experience but conditions could turn against him.
