HI SHINKO is a tentative call in a competitive handicap. Rod Millman's gelding ran twice over course and distance last month winning off a mark of 72. The son of Shinko Forest returned to the track six days later and was beaten just over a length off today's mark of 78 and can score again for this in form yard. Koraleva Tectona may give the selection most to do. Pat Eddery's filly won over course and distance three runs back and was not disgraced when raised in class next time at Newmarket, and lost nothing in defeat at York on her last start. My Learned Friend is of interest fitted with a first time visor. Andrew Balding's charge races off a mark only two pounds lower than his last victory and the head gear may spark some improvement. Two others to note are Tikka Masala and Space Station. The former won over the trip at Leicester off a perch of 69 and is only three pounds higher today but the lack of a run at the track is a concern. Space Station is unexposed and may have got in off a lenient mark of 70. Any money for him would be of interest, though preference is for Hi Shinko.
