    Verdict

Plenty of guesswork involved here with so many likely to improve. That includes Goldoni, who was aimed high in the Chesham last time and can do better here, while Halling Dancer made a promising debut at Windsor though he's not got a great draw today. Neither has Repeater, who may have gone off too fast when favourite at Wolverhampton last time. Tidal Way went close at Folkestone on his penultimate start and a repeat effort would see him thereabouts, but a tentative vote goes to TONES. He was streets ahead of the rest when runner-up at Brighton last time and this extra furlong will suit.
