Verdict

Stablemates Strike Up The Band and Fathom Five were third and fifth respectively in this 12 months ago. The latter is 5lb lower this time around and ran well over the C&D in June when only beaten half-a-length. Dandy Nicholls also runs veteran Indian Trail and Doncaster fourth Crimea, though son Adrian's mount may be better on a quicker surface. Saturday's Newmarket winner Judge 'n Jury is worth considering now he's back in form but this may be too tough for last month's C&D winner Diamond Charlie and Pat Morris' pair Your Gifted and Secret Millionaire. SOHRAAB hasn't run a bad race over this trip this year, however, and is proven in this grade. With Kieran O'Neill taking off 3lb, Hughie Morrison's charge can get his head back in front today.
