Bendant must carry a 7lb penalty for his comfortable Ffos Las win on Friday if connections attempt a follow-up here in a race in which a few have something to prove, notably Dorset Naga and Robin Will. Qianshan Leader's second to Standing Ovation here in October now glows with a much healthier sheen than seemed the case at the time and he must go close on that form with the Lavelle team in such good nick. He's clearly talented but three pulled ups in his last six starts reveal an obvious concern for those following him in here. TRAFALGAR overcame a near two-year absence when scoring on his chasing debut at Worcester last month and could be anything over fences. He was a promising hurdler before his injury and, as only a six-year-old, should have plenty of opportunity to make up for lost time. Barlow has disappointed in recent starts but is down to a career-low mark as a consequence. He'd be a danger if recapturing his spark.
