Golden Boot only had two rivals to beat at Gowran in February and was well beaten on his only subsequent start. Better Back Bob was a shock winner of his only start over fences at Downpatrick in October then failed to take advantage of a much lower rating over hurdles. ROLLING ROCKET just failed to get to Effernock Lad at Naas and there's little between them again, though the runner-up was having his first start since April and can gain revenge. Third-placed I Knew Well wasn't beaten far and was also returning from a break but successful point-to-pointer I'm An Izz Wizz has been well beaten in his last two starts under Rules.
