CASTELLO SFORZA looks a very smart recruit to hurdling and should make a winning start. A bumper winner here on his racecourse debut, he was only beaten three lengths in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham. Runfordave won a Down Royal bumper and made an encouraging start over timber behind Moulin A Vent at Punchestown a fortnight ago. Robin Des Mana also represents Gordon Elliott and he's performed well in his recent starts but Gunnery Sergeant looks more of a threat as he landed a point and a bumper on his first two starts and may have won on his hurdling debut at Gowran but for falling. He then performed with credit in a Grade 1 here a year ago and should be up to winning soon.
