Shamash has one moderate effort over hurdles behind him but has been in winning form on the all-weather and should do much better. Agent Boru didn't act on heavy ground at Punchestown but earlier efforts on quicker going put him in the frame. Winning bumper Broken Soul began life over hurdles with an excellent run behind Anibale Fly on heavy ground and won a bumper at Down Royal in December. He ran poorly at Gowran last time though it may have come too soon after a run six days earlier. Banjo and Runforbob are others to consider but it's about time TUDOR CITY was winning and Tony Martin's dual Flat winner, who has been running well in tough handicaps, should finally get off the mark.
