Verdict

Not For Burning scored over 3m here on New Year's Day and has run quite well in slightly better company since, despite a 7lb rise. But BACK BEFORE DAWN (NAP), who landed a Leopardstown maiden two years ago and was having only his third subsequent start when runner-up to Steel Wave at Punchestown in November, has scope to improve and can get the better of Corporate Box, who has been chasing without much luck since completing a double over timber in April. Elusive Ivy was in excellent form before a poor run when strongly fancied at Leopardstown a fortnight ago. If that could be forgiven, she would have a fine chance of getting back on track.
