Verdict

Vedettariat has had two runs over fences, falling in the first and finishing tailed off in the other. A dual winner over hurdles, he'll be expected to do much better but in receipt of the mare's allowance CURRAGH NA GOLD looks the better option. She was alongside Altiepix when falling two out here last month and the winner scored at Clonmel on Thursday. Joncol's half-brother Fine Theatre looks a big threat on his chasing debut as he's done quite well over timber and was always going to be a chaser. Katnap has plenty of experience which should stand him in good stead, though he's well exposed.
