Verdict

Focas Mor was having only her second start when a very close third in what looked a moderate Wexford maiden earlier this month. She'll have come on for the outing and should get into the frame though if CIRCLING runs up to last season's form she will take all the beating. David Wachman's Galileo filly wasn't beaten far in a Listed contest on her second start and though beaten when odds-on when returning to action at Dundalk in February she may not have been suited by the surface and tonight's soft ground can see her gain her first success. Diylawa is a half-sister to four middle-distance winners and she's been finding a mile on the short side so she should go well and Dermot Weld's newcomer Sierra Sun is also stoutly bred and will appreciate a stiff test of stamina in the heavy ground.
