In depth

Verdict

Wellingtonbridge is probably better than he showed at Hereford and Potters Sapphire may have seen too much daylight when fifth at Wetherby. Molly Childers could not have got any closer last time at Towcester but this sharp track may not be ideal. Witham is the first foal to race of a staying hurdler/chaser so may also need a stiffer test. Another newcomer, WHATZDJAZZ (NAP), makes more appeal as he is a half-brother to the useful Welsh Shadow, who won a bumper on his racecourse debut and later ran against the likes of Yanworth and Yorkhill over timber.
