In depth

Verdict

This looks a decent bumper with plenty of chances. Belmount gives weight away all round on the back of a smooth Towcester success but this does look tougher, although another good performance is anticipated. At First Light also faces a harder challenge than when scoring over course and distance on debut whilst Irish pointer Abbeygrey is an interesting recruit for Evan Williams and should be carefully monitored in the betting. All four newcomers also demand a market check but SHANTOU BOB is the choice. He represents the burgeoning Greatrex/Sheehan combination and looked useful when posting a cheeky debut success on his sole start in an Irish point prior to joining current connections.
