In depth

Verdict

Only a smattering of form to go upon so ME TOO is the pick with Maggie Aron and Weldone Honey on the shortlist. Liam Corcoran's mare was a winner of a point-to-point when seemingly unfancied at odds of 10-1. Related to a French Group 3 winner on the flat, she could literally be anything. Maggie Aron was probably bred more with the flat in mind rather then fences. Her extended family includes the very smart staying hurdler, Iris's Gift. Weldone Honey ran respectably on her first racecourse start and certainly gave the impression that the experience would not have been lost upon her. Gift Of Freedom was highly tried on her debut under rules at Cheltenham while Verde Goodwood will be in receipt of the age and fillies allowances and would be very much of interest if the market were to speak in her favour. Me Too is the call.
