In depth

Verdict

KHEFYN beat Colourist, who runs in the opener, by six lengths on soft ground at Chepstow last week so conditions here aren't going to be a problem. Also a winner over C&D in July, Ron Harris' colt is fancied to defy his penalty in this slightly higher grade. Michael's Song produced a better effort when going handicapping at Goodwood last time but Hardy Red appears to be going backwards and Bay Laurel has his first run on Turf and ran a shocker when favourite over 7f at Lingfield last time. Scoobys Girl also needs to improve on what she's shown so far.
