      Verdict

      My Meteor beat Ficelle and Spic 'n Span over C&D on soft ground last month but there's no guarantee he'll confirm the form off a 3lb higher mark, though he did have Spic 'n Span, Steel Rain and Just For Mary behind here in July. Griffin Point usually finds one too good, though did manage to get his head in front at Bath last month, and the interesting one has to be HAVIN' A GOOD TIME. She stepped up markedly on her first start when beating Asian Trader in a Wolverhampton maiden last month. The second has a rating of 69 so Roger Varian's filly looks well treated here of a mark of 62 and is worth another try on soft ground.
