In depth

Verdict

Eddie Ahern has struck up a good relationship with CAMACHE QUEEN the last twice, notably when scoring at Salisbury latest. Raised 4lb for that success, she arrives in good heart whereas some of her rivals may have had enough at this stage of the campaign. Trip and ground look ideal and she's preferred to Flameoftheforest, with whom Ed de Giles has done well since the gelding joined his Ledbury yard in the summer from Charlie Swan. This is his ground and trip too and he'll go well despite a 6lb hike for last month's Newcastle success. Bravo King, Celtic Sixpence and Palais Glide are all respected in an open heat along with Irish raider Colour Of Love and the enigmatic Dickie Le Davoir.
