In depth

Verdict

BUTLERGROVE KING has gone well on all three starts since joining Christian Williams and is the only member of the field with a recent win to his name. He backed up that victory with a solid effort latest and his talented amateur pilot is good value for his 7lb claim and another prominent showing is anticipated. Cruising Bye continues to defy advancing years and ran really well in a veteran's chase recently at Cartmel and should be on the premises, whilst Gentleman Moore continues to go reliably enough at this level and both Jonagold and Culm Counsellor are noted towards the foot of the weights with Bryony Frost an interesting booking for the latter.
