Verdict

Evan Williams sent out a well backed winner of a bumper at Ludlow in the week and JUST DAVE is suggested in the hope that the market speaks equally strongly in his favour. He certainly looks the part on paper as he's out of a bumper winner and a half-brother to Black Jack Blues so this could turn out to be a good day for the family. Pontyates, Sothisisit and Youralltalk have all shown ability under Rules whilst Sir Mattie and Redbridge Flyer have form to their names between the flags and the racecourse experience will certainly stand them in good stead but they don't look unbeatable so it would be no surprise if the main threat to the selection proved to be Sertao who also makes some appeal on paper.
