This looks less competitive than at first glance with two progressive summer chasers the ones to concentrate upon at the foot of the weights. Lotus Pond already has a course and distance win to his name and was heavily eased when scoring at Southwell but the handicapper refused to be taken in and hiked him almost a stone. This should tell us if he remains well-treated. Similar comments apply to FIFTY SHADES, who progressed to score with plenty to spare at Newton Abbot and could be open to any amount of improvement. In receipt of weight from Lotus Pond. He's taken to go in again. More Buck's impressed on his debut for Peter Bowen but is set quite a task off 12-1, whilst stable companion, the consistent Kinari, and Super Scorpion, running well at present, are others to note.
