In depth

Verdict

VOODOO DOLL defied a two-grade rise to land a very competitive Worcester handicap and should take the beating dropped back to Class 3. He has only risen 2lb for that success, faces the same forecast conditions now and could well have further potential to unlock at the age of five. Starcrossed is another from who more can be expected as the Skelton gelding contests just a fifth start over timber. Burst Ya Bubble is more experienced than both and latest efforts indicate he'll be competitive once again, whilst Coeur Tantre returns to action after a break and is the one to note in the market, the yard having won with a similar type in G For Ginger earlier this week. Novis Adventus has yet to recapture his spark after a near 300-day break.
