Verdict

Bumper winner Baltimore Rock is certainly worth a second look on his hurdling debut but IT'S A DODDLE is likely to take all the beating with AP McCoy taking over the reins from a conditional. He will be suited by further in time but was given far too much to do when third at Bangor after a promising start at Uttoxeter. A longer will also suit Buywise but he showed definite promise when fifth at Chepstow and his yard is in good form. Irish import Minella Reception may need this and Sir Pitt has been off the track for a while but could be the type for a novices' handicap this winter. Chepstow fourth Filatore looks best of the rest.
