Verdict

HEIST has made several successful trips across the Irish Sea and has only been raised 3lb for a recent course and distance success. As his regular pilot is able to claim 7lb, that may not be too much of an inconvenience. Mighty Leader has been raised 7lb for a narrow victory at Stratford but Gingili is only 5lb higher than when scoring at Worcester and has returned from a break in good form. Benenden could figure with a clear round but does tend to do better when there is some give in the ground.
