        Verdict

        HALLING'S WISH, who landed a 2m3f maiden hurdle at Fontwell in October, was having his first start since that month when runner-up to Hamble over 1m3f at Lingfield three weeks ago. He will have found that trip on the short side and can go one better. Fuzzy Logic was beaten a long way in this a year ago but won over timber here last month and ran better at Chepstow a couple of weeks ago so looks a threat from his very lowly spot in the handicap. Captain Sharpe, who is only 1lb higher than his course and distance victory last month, was behind in that latter race but any further rain would definitely put him in the picture. Lucky Diva's three career victories have all been on very fast going but she's well treated at her best and Paul Hanagan's presence suggest connections mean business. Wasabi has yet to win a race though should be suited by this longer trip.
