    Verdict

Homeboy led until the closing stages at Lingfield last week when a 50/1 chance but he's only ever won on Polytrack and has had plenty of opportunities on Turf. His stable also run DARK LANE, whose last two victories have been at Wolverhampton but he's run well in slightly higher grade on his two latest starts on good ground and should beat this moderate bunch. Tony Carroll runs By Rights, a surprise winner on soft ground at Nottingham before disappointing when fancied at Leicester, and Outbid, who is much better on Polytrack though rated accordingly. Ryan Style is 18lb lower than a year ago but hasn't won since 2011.
