In depth

Verdict

Circle Of Truth looks the obvious contender here, with Peggys Flower and Queen Of Narnia the two likely to fight out second spot. Bill Turner's colt has shown plenty of ability in three races to date, most recently an excellent third behind Granny Peel at Wolverhampton, a repeat of that run should be good enough in this modest contest. Peggys Flower is from a top yard and has the assistance of the flying Frankie Dettori. Her first effort when third behind Mobashir was a terrific performance and if running up to that standard again this afternoon she will be a tough nut to crack. Queen Of Narnia finished just ahead of Peggy's Flower at Lingfield last time and had previously taken on decent enough opposition. She drops to selling company for the first time and has to be respected. The others make very little appeal and so in what is virtually a three horse war Circle Of Truth gets the decision.
