Verdict

Big Wave may have seen too much daylight trying 5f for the first time at Brighton earlier this month and shouldn't be ignored here while old stagers Bateleur and Even Bolder are weighted to figure, though neither is exactly prolific nowadays. Dear Maurice was only beaten a head at Brighton on his latest start but is another that struggles to get his head in front and top weight Indian Shuffle is likely to need this after a lengthy absence. LOVE YOU LOUIS has the plum draw and can be forgiven his latest run at Newbury where Richard Hughes' decision to go solo down the far side badly backfired. John Jenkins' charge is a dual C&D winner and well handicapped nowadays so gets the nod.
