Verdict

A wide open contest rounds off the card with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Final Bid, Maria Antonia and Tresor Secret and the narrow vote is given to Final Bid. The selection was a fair fourth behind Night Cruise when last seen on the level, he has since been in good form over hurdles and off what looks a fair mark he looks a value bet. Maria Antonia rates the main danger on her best form but she just gave the impression the handiapper had caught up with her last time and is opposable on that basis. Tresor Secret is game and consistent and is sure to run her race but she is rising in the weights for being beaten and again looks vulnerable. Enthusius won well last time out and is unexposed so he could go well but his overall profile leaves him with a little to find. Of the remainder, Treetops Hotel has dropped to a handy mark and has conditions to suit so is worth a cautionary look in the markert but for the winner we are happy to return to Final Bid.
