Golden Jack has the beating of Trade Off on their running at Wincanton in a similarly decent contest last week and the 14-year-old is taken to follow up that success, getting the verdict ahead of Complete Outsider and Millenium Way. The last mentioned, like the selection, is a 14-year-old and has been running consistently well in point-to-points but does tend to find at least one too good and may do so again here. Glory Trail and Thatlldoya have been running to a similar level of form and have to be respected but may have to settle for minor honours and of more interest may be Complete Outsider, who was in the process of running a big race at Cheltenham last week until falling late on in the race won by Hip Pocket. He looks the main threat to Golden Jack but it is the 14-year-old that gets the verdict.
