        Verdict

The market can be a good friend to us here, given that six of the scheduled 14 runners are racing for the first time, but in the absence of any guide from the betting ring, we'll side with limited experience and HUROOF, ahead of Godolphin stable-mate Million Dollars and Hibaayeb. We think Huroof looks the pick of the two Godolphin runners, after an impressive debut when runner up in a better race than this. She doesn't have any fancy entries as yet, but nor does debutante Million Dollars, who didn't cost anything like that. The yard's banging out the winners at the moment, and the former's preferred given her experience of a racecourse, albeit limited. Hibaayeb showed promise on debut and is the in-form Clive Brittain's only runner on the card. John Dunlop's won this race a couple of times previously, but Calatrava Cape would have to improve massively to get involved. The betting ring should give us some clues as to any that are being backed or swerved, but in the absence of that at this stage, we'll side with Huroof.
