It could be the bookies who are saying GOODBYE CASH after this race, and she carries our modest support ahead of Sultans Way and Lennie Briscoe. It's not a contest to get wildly excited about, but David Evans' mare has been going well recently at the tricky Brighton course, with a win in a seller and a couple of thirds in a claimer and a handicap. She's no world beater, but this doesn't look like it'll take much winning. Sultans Way won over this trip at Catterick last year, but lightly raced since, he's not been able to repeat that, with various distances tried. He's the yard's only runner, but they're on the cold list at the moment. Lennie Briscoe's not even been placed in seven runs, so the fact he's in contention tells you everything you need to know about many of the others. He's twice changed hands for at least ¿90,000 but has yet to repay connections. A number of these have various bits of headgear applied to bring about some improvement. David Evans is in good form at the moment though, and that can continue here with Goodbye Cash.
