Verdict

Rocknrobin stuck on well to land a first hurdling success here over the Bank Holiday weekend. Connections clearly felt a recent return to hurdling was the right way to go and it will be interesting to see if the move back to fences yields an equally improved performance. He's sure to go close if that proves the case but the progressive EASY STREET is another with time on his side and the son of High Chaparral has his attentions turned to fences after just five runs over timber. This is presumably considered his forte and hopefully he can jump with sufficient fluency to land a debut success over the larger obstacles. Roparta Avenue enters calculations on the back of a dramatically improved effort when scoring at Plumpton on good ground but a 12lb punishment may prove just too onerous for the Grissell charge. Snowball is an interesting chasing recruit whilst Flemensbay and Free Of Charge would have claims at their best too.
