It wouldn't do to discount Calypso Bay too readily here despite finding one too good on his last two starts, for this extra three furlongs will give him stronger claims of success and he should handle the ground, though preference is for PANZER. Claimer Henry Brooke has struck up a good partnership with the gelding, winning a chase here over this sort of trip last time and a three-mile hurdle at Worcester prior to that. The ground is ideal for him and on current form he is very hard to oppose. Vacario has claims of making the frame but a more serious threat may come from Toomuchinformation, who had a pipe-opener last month and has claims on her effort here in March, when she fell late on while staying on.
