In depth

Verdict

A tough penultimate race on the card with a lot of the field badly out of form or not straight forward but the vote goes to WISENFURST ahead of Fort Severn and Bid Art. The above three mentioned all finished behind Lord Gunnerslake on their previous starts so their chances will be advertised in the first race on the card. The selection came out on top of these three the last day and should be able to confirm placings with the above two. Fort Severn seemed to improve for the quicker ground and is entitled to finish closer to the selection. Bid Art ran very freely on his last start when beaten favourite but has a hike in the handicap to overcome now and a bit to proof so we will return to Wisenfurst.
