Verdict

A tough bumper to finish with the majority of the field having there first run but we will side with a top trainer and put forward BATONNIER to go in ahead of Marching Song and Transinki. The selection comes from a yard who can ready first time up winners and has an excellent strike rate here at Fontwell. Furthermore, he is from a prolific winning family and this French bred four-year-old could proof a cut above these rivals today. Quick ground would be a slight concern and the market should help guide. Marching Song was sent off a short enough price in a decent bumper on his latest start and should have more to offer. Transinki is very interesting as his sales priced multiplied by ten but Its Batonnier for us.
