Verdict

Consistent course specialist Mystical Star looks sure to finish in the money again but winning doesn't come easily to him and we prefer the claims of Annie Fleetwood. The mare had Almizan and Follow Your Heart a long way behind her when third to the progressive Soleil Fix over two miles six here last time and can go a couple of places better tonight. She seemingly benefited from the fitting of a tongue tie last time, has slipped to a decent mark and looks to have solid claims although this trip is on the short side. Cashari won a Hunter Chase in good style at Cartmel last time but would probably prefer further and is passed over unless he attracts strong market support. Mystical Star ran another sound race on his final start to bring his course record to seven frame finishes from thirteen starts but the lack of a win is offputting. Urban Tiger enters calculations but hasn't gone on from a promising start and is by no means certain to see out this longer trip so, despite slight concerns about the distance, Annie Fleetwood gets our vote.
