In depth

Verdict

Petergate has his first run since a beaten favourite at Stratford last July. Plantagenet was the subject of an unlikely gamble at Kempton earlier this month and only found one too good, though has been raised a couple of pounds since. In the circumstances, it may pay to stick with TACTICAL MANOEUVRE as he was a ready winner over a slightly longer trip at Exeter 10 days ago. Bostin is preferred to Dropzone of the others, though both are exposed.
