Verdict

SPIRITOFCHARTWELL has had six consecutive starts over these fences since September. He’s won three of them and placed in the others and Phil York’s charge acts on most types of going. Two Hoots has slid down the weights and finished closer at Wincanton last time without threatening to win and similar comments apply to Key To The West, fourth at Worcester recently. Code Of Law won on fast ground here last summer and is only 3lb higher while Pierlow remains unexposed over fences.
