Verdict

KELTUS may not be a stable star but he'll pay his way at this level and should concede the weight. A winner at Fakenham in October, he then ran a cracking race when runner-up in a Cheltenham Grade 2 before reappearing at that level at Ayr last month. Adam du Breteau scored over the course and distance in December but has struggled off his higher mark but Kilfinichen Bay has a tremendous strike-rate and showed his turn wouldn't be far off again with a very good run in a Grade 2 at Uttoxeter. Caulfields Venture will enjoy quick ground more than most and will have needed his return effort at Kempton while Set List is just 1lb higher than his last victory at Stratford in July.
