Verdict

Premier Des Marais has ability but isn't easy to predict. He's just the type to respond to first-time blinkers, however, and is nicely handicapped at present. E Street Boy rattled up a four-timer in March and April and can't be ignored even though he's 24lb higher now than when his winning run began. The Wee Midget finished behind David Pipe's charge at Hereford but won at the same track on his next outing and may have found 3m2f stretching his stamina at Plumpton last time. He's another with claims but HOME's confidence will have been boosted by a couple of easy wins over fences and he is taken to complete the hat-trick back over the smaller obstacles.
