Verdict

LASTROSEOFSUMMER was a little disappointing after winning a maiden hurdle at Musselburgh in November but Rae Guest's mare is lightly-raced over timber and may just have been freshened up by a break. She is handicapped to win this on her reappearance. Bangor winner King Ozzy needs the rains to arrive to take his chance but recent Wincanton second Cossack Prince should face the start while four-year-old Denton Ryal will strip fitter for a recent third at Plumpton. Dark Energy, fourth at Newton Abbot last time, may be best of the rest.
